BearShare Beta v5

This is the BearShare 5 Beta which was as good if not better than BearShare 5 Pro. Due to the Beta being set to only run over a certain date period, the BearStart Utility will momentarily (just for a few seconds) change your computer clock back to when the beta was valid. (Make sure you make exceptions in your security software for BearStart.)

BearShare Beta will then start. You should always only open the BearStart Utility, make a shortcut for it on desktop.

You will need fresh connection cache. This can be obtained at the Gnutella forums Bearshare Host Connections "A technique for connecting with BearShare" thread. There are instructions how to add the fresh Cache; how to set BearShare up to connect, and connection cache supplied within zip & rar files.
