Daesmith - Peter Kovacs - decided to become a DJ at the age of 17 after 5 years of listening to electronic music. He was invited to play first in secondary school at school-organized gigs, and from that on at some well known clubs in his home town Nagykanizsa (Hungary) dated about 1999-2000. From that time he kept evolving his skills of mixing and amusing the audience. He had the opportunity to play in clubs in the capital of Budapest thanks to his friend DJ Kühl (Tamas Kuhl).
In the last 10 years he played in almost all well known clubs in Hungary and in some of the neighboring countries gave him some fair shows as well. His first impressions were trance and techno but later on he was smashed by house and its many kinds became dominant in his sets. His music style keeps a solid distance from the trend-line by being harmonic, and on the other hand being exaggerated... even if its deep house, tech house or chill out.
He was inspired by the following DJs/artists: Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Danny Tenaglia, Sven Väth, Carl Craig, Funk D’Void, Jay Tripwire, Chymera, Nikola Gala, Slytek, Eelke Kleijn, Timewriter, Kriece, Kühl, Budai, Pöli, Palotai, Gulu, Add2Basket, Cave Sedem, Cogita etc.
Clubs where he played at: Dokk Club, Home Club, Pacha, Barokko, Club Coronita, Dokkoló, Club Cool, Djinn Bar, Sunny Lounge, Upside Down, Globe Royal (Budapest). Stará Sladovná (Kassa, Slovakia) Club Korona (Kecel), Club Q (Gödöllő), Boccaccio (Pécs), Club Play (Kapuvár), Black Magic (Balatonmáriafürdő), Oázis, Galilei, Cola Classic Club (Nagykanizsa).
