صمد بهرنگی - صمد در ۱۳۱۸ در محلهٔ چرنداب شهر تبریز به دنیا آمد.در ۱۳۳9 بهرنگی اولین داستان منتشر شده‌اش به نام عادت را نوشت. که با تلخون و بی‌نام در 1340و ۱۳۴۲، و داستان‌های دیگر ادامه یافت. بهرنگی در شهریور ۱۳۴۷ در رود ارس و در ساحل روستای شام‌گوالیک غرق شد.
