Digital music ((mediums)) (aka mp3, CD players) has killed the real Pro DJ. /p p In 2007, the Top Djs in the world, Erick Morillo, Tiesto, David Guetta, etc... began carrying CDs to their presentations, for "comfort" and "ease". Our world lacks originality, so many DJs followed suit and began carrying CDs too. This "comfort" created a phenomenon, a "loss of identity", and now (practically) everyone with hardware and/or software that synchronizes BPMs calls him- or herself a DJ. This new "DJ" is far, far removed from what a real Pro DJ is about. The perfect mix is 30% synchronizing and 70% feeling.
