Hi! I have now uploaded most of my back catalogue to this site for you to listen to. In the early days some of you may have known me as Man in Box as this was the name on the first album Lifeline to the Sofa. Available only on tape, this consists of 8 tracks recorded between 1983 and 1985. Most tracks had other colaborators - thanks to Rob and the two Andys and Joolie who designed the original cover. Listen to all the tracks below by clicking on the link Lifeline to the Sofa .
The second album is called Here (front cover is the profile image above) and was recorded between 1991 and 1993 - released in 1994 on 12 inch vinyl only. It is a concept album and has few individual tracks but instead is one long flow of ideas and landscapes with different themes. I would describe it as semi-ambient. One theme that is an individual track and you can listen to for a taster is 'Red of the Sun'. Again there were many collaborators but particular thanks go to Rob and Jeff (he likes to be called Hank now). Each side of the album is a continual track but too big to upload in one go so I had to chop it into segments - 3 per side. If you want to listen to it properly please download the 3 segments for each side and put them into a playlist. I do still have some original vinyl copies left - contact me if you are interested

I have included a collection of Extras - a selection of tracks unreleased some with other musicians and some done alone. Elephants was recorded alone on a Portastudio 4-track and is purely experimental. Nuremberg Trials has a pretty obvious theme and I cannot remember the bass-player's name but thanks to him - also thanks to Graham and the lovely-voiced Laura Denham-Jones. Watching the Rain Fall is me on piano with an extra segment on the end featuring Graham again. Sitar Sex is just an out-take. Stormy Wind i barely remember. Secret Garden was an indie single i recorded with a short lived band of my own. The American singer's name was Linda and the bassplayer was Eiftah. When Summer Leaves the Room was a demo of a blues/jazz song which suprizingly gained a life of its own. It was later recorded for publishing by a friend of a jazz singer called Victoria. I cannot remember her last name but she lived next door in 13 (?) Baronsmere Road and was a friend of Marc Bolan. She then performed it live in the Jazz Club on Dean St.
The other folder contains songs recorded with a band called Son of Crashing Wave. I joined as guitarist and there are 3 songs from that period. I have lost track of the singer Mark, bassplayer Andy and drummer Simon but they can contact me here. All compositions on Grass, Morning and Phutrolium by Andy and Mark, lyrics by Mark.
I have recently written more compositions - mainly reggae and R&B, and I am always looking for collaborators so if you are interested let me know.
